    The Flamingo™ comes with a 2-year warranty for the camera unit and a 1-year warranty for all other supplied parts, in accordance with the terms and conditions detailed in the user manual.

    No, an active Internet connection is not required to livestream with Flamingo™.

    The battery takes approximately 2.5–3 hours to fully charge. The average operating time with both the camera and the light in use is approximately 4 hours. The average operating time using only the camera OR the light is approximately 8 hours.

    The light source of the Flamingo™ unit provides an illuminance of 60,000 lx and a color temperature of 5,750 K.

     

    Flamingo™ uses the .mkv format internally, but when the video is exported, it is converted to .mp4, which is compatible with Macs, PCs, and smartphones.

    The files (videos and bookmarks) are stored locally on the computer within the user profile and can be accessed through the Flamingo™ app. To use them outside the Flamingo™ application, use the Export function.

    Yes. All Wi-Fi dongles shipped after May 1st, 2024 can be used with both Windows and Mac. Dongles shipped before that date must be updated in order to work with Windows. To update your Wi-Fi dongle, follow these steps:

    1. Update your Flamingo™ app on your Mac to the latest version (minimum supported version: 5.61).
    2. Connect the Wi-Fi dongle to your Mac and use it to connect to a Flamingo camera.

    That’s it. Your Wi-Fi dongle can now be used with Windows.
