The best of the Flamingo camera…
In our article Flamingo Camera: Innovation in Imaging for Healthcare Professionals, we already shared that it was not only designed to record procedures with precision but is also incredibly lightweight and easy to use.
Below are the main benefits of the new Flamingo camera, which retains the best features of its previous version:
- HD Camera: with integrated light to precisely capture what the professional sees, providing uniform, shadow-free illumination.
- Full HD Video: delivers clear, smooth, and vivid-color images (1080p at 30 FPS), ideal for documenting or live-streaming procedures.
- Ultra-lightweight (only 19 grams): becomes a natural ergonomic extension of your loupes, without interfering with your work.
- Comfort and autonomy: thanks to its PowerPack battery connection, it provides freedom of movement and continuous operation with dual interchangeable batteries — always ready to record!
- Live Wi-Fi streaming: allows real-time transmission to other devices (such as a computer) while performing clinical work.
- Updatable software: updates automatically to ensure you always have access to the latest improvements, keeping the device at the cutting edge of technology.
In short, the Flamingo camera doesn’t just document — it builds confidence. Patients can see what the professional observes, helping them better understand each step of the treatment and strengthening their trust in the clinician.
…now with a new lens system and a super connector that make it even better
The new Flamingo not only keeps the best of its original design but takes a step forward with two key innovations that make all the difference.
First, it now features an interchangeable lens system that lets you choose between two options, depending on your clinical needs:
- “Wide” 21 mm lens: offers a wide field of view for a complete visual frame — equivalent to an ergo 4X magnification.
- “Focus” 25 mm lens: provides a narrower field of view designed to capture fine details that require greater precision — equivalent to an ergo 5X magnification.
Lens changes are quick and easy: each lens attaches and detaches in seconds, with no tools required.
In addition, the coaxial light of the Flamingo, perfectly aligned with the camera, ensures bright, shadow-free images in both lens modes.
Secondly, the new super connector enables a perfect fit between the camera and the loupes, offering 360º rotation and horizontal and vertical adjustments. This allows professionals to freely position the camera and light, recording in different formats (horizontal or vertical) and optimizing documentation for each procedure.
Moreover, its advanced software now includes AI-based tools that simplify video editing and clinical recording management, improving both efficiency and output quality.
